where and when is the best time to start fishing for bass on the wirral and do they cach on best on crab ?

Try at moreton lighthouse or right along the wirral coast to perch rock they have been known to be found as far down as eggy ferry also mackeral in the summer months have been caught there too. crab worm or sandeel for bass. go for crab fish along the rocks and groynes using peeler crab or a cocktail as they will be looking for crabs and other livebaits best trying about april as thats the first peel. goodluck.
