You can fish Otterspool on any tide but once you go over 26ft the run gets stronger and the amount of weed can be a real pain...codling often feed just as the tide begins to flood. If you`re stuck for bait the whiting will take mack....if you can get lug,rag,crab you will get the codling too.No need for any casting distance and most rigs will work.
