It was a glorious day to be out,which was just as well as recent reports from Caldy were pretty poor....the lads spread out all along the beach.

I set up at the far left end...

As soon as the water made it up the beach we cast out and my crab baits soon had my rod bouncin` with a couple of good lids...

Thought i might be in for a decent day,but that was the end of the action....we got pushed up on to the path after 45 mins...

We heard Richie had taken a couple with his best going 1-7-0....

Joe had a couple late on...

The second one came on a cracked off rig which he later retrieved when the tide started to ebb....

Nice day to be out but the fishing was poor.......the bass are calling now :dance:

I can think of far worse ways to spend a Sunday morning, came away with a cracking tan and avoided the blanks if nothing else. Big thanks to Kev for arranging stuff again and cheers for posting the report :clap:

Yep, a cracking tan indeed. Only problem is, is that I kept my sunglasses on for most of the time. My wife says that I look like a racoon now :)
