can anyone help me out I want to target smoothounds and ive heard that you can catch them at llandullas but i was just wondering when the best time to fish for them there is also what other species may i expect there thanks in advance

Why go all the way round there when you can catch them down river from New Brighton in the rock channel.

Landullas is definitely safer too

twas carp last year. only had one about a lb. and id say it wont be much good this year we went bassing there last week and only had whiting.
for some reason all the snags have gone and its as clean as a whistle when weve had them off there its always been snaggy and you lose a bit of tackle. I reckon when it was rough they used to be on there looking for crab. last year the best hounds we had were of pensarn over low.

ok so it's not very good there now , and i was fishing harrison drive the otherday before low and it seems a very far walk in the water so im not keen on there

Theres a match on the rock channel next month Kurt,
if you want to fish the rock channel-thats the time to
