Has anyone got any advice for fishing Gimblett Rock at Pwllheli ? I cannot seem to find much on here !

I`ve seen a couple of reports of tope being taken off the rock,and i`m assured fishing big mack baits in Oct/Nov will give you a good chance of big bass....the water is supposed to be deeper there than along the beach.

Didn't get down there in the end because of the wind !

But open to visiting anytime ;)

Just as well, it's sh@t this time of year :lol: another month and you can expect Huss and thornies, chance of a bass, and the usual flounder, pin whiting, dabs n dogs.

There's been a few Spotties coming out, but the staple at this time of year is small Dabs, dogs and the odd Whiting.

Andy Parry fished it last night and blanked, Seems to be one of them marks were anything can turn up or nothing at all
