Fishing anglesey in a strong westerly wind

Planned on a 3 day trip to anglesey trying for tope of the rocks towards mackerel rock and rangers way , however with the wind being quite strong the next few days it might have to be a change of plan.
Anywhere else I could try for tope on anglesey that will give me a bit of shelter out the wind ( possibly 30 mph guests ).
Push comes to shove I will get shelter fishing the harbour side of holy head breakwater , but I’d like to get somewhere else sheltered if possible.

Tope fishing is just like bass fishing people only fish where others have caught them

Tope are all over its just a case of finding somewhere they venture in close enough for the angler to catch them.

BUT BACK to your question
DINAS reef the low water beaches that face the reef produce them BUT you need big spring tides / you haven't got that.

Trevor pier again best on big tides

So for shelter and deep water the East side / like White Beach / Penmon Quarry / probably more options but I have never fished any other place on the north or east side of Anglesey.

Ok thanks for the reply , penmon it will be tomorrow, hopefully fresh mackerel for bait then get it straight out for something big , tope , bull huss ect then I’ll try somewhere else the following day depending on the wind forecast
