Off to Weymouth for a few days so decided to stop off at sully spit on the way through tide was to small to b honest but low water was 17-30 got to lavenlock parked up by the lane you get down to the beach from follow the path till there’s a gap in the trees go down some steps if that’s what you call them once at the bottom turn right you have to walk over rocks for 10 minutes then you will hit better ground to get to the main part of the spit you need to walk to the end of the second set of holiday homes you can see behind the beach the water empties about2 hrs before lw got on to the sand and followed the tide out

Never got a sniff couple of other lads no bites between us only got an hour after low as it floods pretty fast on the way back ther was a lad fishing for bass but no joy but said it fishes well on the flood showed me some photos of the bass he’d caught 14lb was the biggest so off back up to the car was ok to have a good look what it’s all about it’s about 35 min from car to were you fish







Chesil

Went to west bexington fished 2 before low upto high fishing 4 hrs into darkness beach was packed only seen 3 mackerel caught




Had a few hrs on Portland rocks with the carp rod and my Abu cardinal on the float good fun on rag and frozen ainsdales finest had about 20/30 about 6/10” corkwing/ballans





So that’s it lads

Oh well at least you tried,I got one flounder at Barmouth best sticking to Brunswick or Otterspool
