Fished otters Tuesday I haven’t been there for a while was after a cod after recent reports of the odd fish coming in alas not to be loads of knocks but knew they were whiting I changed one rig to 1.0 hooks caught a couple of whiting ,then back to big baits big hooks bait was sandeel,lug,crab,squid,next trip will be Whitby on a boat and probably a session on beach.

Must be the poorest winter in living memory on the Mersey and Fylde coast....good luck in Whitby
