this weekend and beyond ???

Not been out for a while ? So back out as from this weekend . Not sure where but it will be local.
Tide is wrong for a plaice session so probably target the thornback ray from the River Mersey a low water Venue.

I have also been getting my fishing gear sorted and re-built my MTI Bass rod ready for a good work out.




I have also purchased a strong and waterproof box that all my filming gear ? gopro / spare battery / phone holder attachment / mic / receiver and connection lead . so all is in one place.


Tides are on the rise as form this weekend so fishing should be more often for me local with the Plaice fishing and start of the Rock Channel fishing for Smooth hounds . I will also be doing Morrisons again this year after not fishing it at all last year and Perch rock is another alternative .
Last year trying to find new venues for the Smooth Hounds was a bit hit and miss so more of doing this again this year.

Hello Brian,

I’ve not been out much at all this year, looking forward to a few smooth hound sessions over the next month or so.

Might do the Talacre low tomorrow afternoon, I think the odd early one has shown up already. If you are doing the rock channel anytime soon and fancy some company let me know. I reckon it makes sense for me to do my first walk out there in the company of someone who knows the ropes.

I”m also gonna go a little further afield to half moon bay for a hound session soon; new mark for me that seems to throw up some lunkers.
