I am experimenting with with different rigs with just hardback crab as bait ? only fish I have caught so far are Dab's
the fishing has gone all out of sync and the algae bloom is stubborn and just not clearing / plus all sorts of carp being flushed out of the river as well
When am out fishing their is all sorts dead on the beach due too this like shell fish / hermit crab / baby spider crab / small fish.
For the last 2 weeks I have been clearing out my fishing gear of old stuff that never get's used knower day's / And give a lot of stuff to Tom murphy as I know he will use it .
I have also been upgrading my audio for gopro and phone video's along with other new stuff
I have got my hand's on some Abu reels in very good condition so just serviced them. Now tuning and dialling them in to my casting ability.
Am not a lover of reels with magnets in them.
Rest of my time I have been out collecting bait ? last few day's collecting crab local done 3 sessions and now have over 300 peeler and jelly soft crab
getting frozen down.
I had given my crab traps in North Wakes up this year and passed them on to other anglers . Reason for this is I have a different way of getting any crab I need local ?
Without travel cost and time and no cleaning out traps that is very hard work or turning over heavy rocks or bending over moving weed.
