Got down to the fort at 6 in readiness for a low water session, with low at just before 9.
Two rods, one on the typical bluey or mackerel with squid on an up and over, loop rig on the other with various combinations of freezer delights including prawn, crab and black lug.
Just me on the beach, intermittent rain and a brisk westerly so okay for casting and not too uncomfortable.
Fair bit of weed and the troublesome algal rot were both a pain.
Ended up with two doggies and a last cast thornie on the fish and squid. Good pull down on the other rod, however found a snag early in the retrieve and lost the lot.
Fished about 30 minutes into the flood when the weed/rot became intolerable.
Nice to be out as ever, still waiting for a proper decent summer session.
Cheers
Andy

I know what you mean about intermittent rain. I was at Hoylake later this morning. Well done getting a few
