Headed to formby Friday with Jimmy redfern after a bass got there just on low water there was a nice surf with a onshore wind fishing one rod each with fresh black lug from county road ,the worms from this shop are the best I’ve ever had from a shop, anyway start fishing into a gully as the tide came on the flood soon had a great knock I hit it but lost it two minutes later jimmys rod got a smack this time Jimmy was able to beach a nice school bass that was blank saved we had several more knocks but no result, I really enjoyed getting out on a nice beach with Jim who is recovering from a recent heart transplant and my mental health no being good it was a good pick me up for both or us formby is a great venue we will deffo be fishing it more often.
