Mid day session / No wind / Small neap tide / But overcast. Fished with a new style rig see if it would work
.Target fish was Thornback ray on the big rod and Dogfish/whiting on the lighter rod .
Had a few Dogfish/whiting on the light rod good sport and keep me busy.
The bigger rod Had odd Dogfish and one Whiting .
The Whiting was the session made all worth while
Not sure how this happened but the big rod caught a whiting and by some amazing amount of luck a conger had taken the whiting by the tail but some how had then taken the baited hook but still left the whiting attached
it only came off after a very good scrap with the conger at the waters edge as I beached the conger what a very strange experience that was / But I was made up with it.
