Final round results and final standings

Firstly sorry for delay been busy with bowl's and the Welsh youth team qualifiers

The final round saw 11 anglers turn up at a very pleasant Sunday morning at town hall steps.

We all met up on the road by the town hall and once everyone was booked on they made their way to their chosen spots fishing was slow from the off with the odd fish here and there this continued throughout the match with a mixture of small bass, whiting and a few flounders with Roy Schofield finding the only ray of the match. Soon enough it was back to the car's for the results so whilst I totted up the cards everyone tucked in to a big pot of beef stew with crusty bread it didn't take long to get the results and the winner on the day was Roy Schofield finding 6 fish for 157cm followed by John Waugh with 5 fish for 119cm and thirdwas Dale Edwards with 6 fish for 113cm

Biggest round went to Roy with his Ray of 62cm.

Biggest flat went to junior Harry Jones with a chunky 30cm flounder and smallest fish went to Robert Turner with a stamp sized dab of 6cm.

So with All the points added up it was time for the final league standings

It was very close in the end with Dale Edwards finishing 3rd in the last match and closing the Gap at the top.

Taking the top spot for this year's summer league was regular Dylan Kensall just piping Dale by 4 points and 3rd place went to John Waugh 3 points behind Dale
