Daz,if we fish Dinas,we`ll be back in the tent for 1am (that`s if you`re staying)plenty of time for a few cans and a friendly game of snap

A narrow spade is best....we usually dig around 100 in an hour which is plenty....unless you`re Sven/Millsy who watch me dig then bum them off me

if you act stupid you can get away with murder

not that they have do do much acting

The other alternative is Trefor Pier (2 mins from Svens tent)..should fish well for dog,dogs,doggies,lesser spotted dogfish and LSD`s

Daz,the area we fish at Dinas has a channel around 100yds long,which holds the bass.It`s very easy fishing,as you only need a 40yd cast

I`ve done well there using a 1 up 1 down rig with size 1/0 hooks with 2 ft hook lengths.Blow lug is the best bait,though you`ll get dogs on sandeel if you launch it.
You fish from a steep shingle beach on to a sandy bottom.The weed can be a real problem here,if you start fishing too early.We get on the mark and chill out til 1 hour before high,then it`s clear.It fishes best in darkness,and from around 1/2 hour before high til well into the ebb

It`s free info for everyone as far as i`m concerned Chris....few know exactly where the mark is,but now you`re mentioning private roads,i think that gives more of a clue

You said nothing to me about keeping it quiet...only that in the interest of repecting the private land,not to take too many cars there.
