Looking for a river that hold large numbers of carp, chub and barbel any suggestions, and how much is it to fish there?

Not many river carp around here - for decent river barbel and chub - R.Ribble - around Ribchester

you will get carp in the ribble at the tickled trout....but only after june the 12th mate, dont forget the close season

barbel on the River Dane middlewhich areas not in fantastic numbers though, http://www.baymaltonanglingclub.org.uk/ if you join those boys then they have some very good stretches of the Dane.

Barbel and Chub on the Severn at Bridgenorth. You can fish it on a day ticket.
