Might give this venue a go over christmas, main questions are is it better to fish the ebb on a medium/big tide (28/29+), and do you still get all the rubbish on your line this far down the river on the big tides :?: :?:

Went last sunday me and a mate. Between here and the vents on the early flood had 5 sizeable codling to 2lb 12oz. No whiting or dabs caught,
