The reason I'm asking is that my Wife and I fancy a bit of evening fishing over the summer but don't really enjoy 'Pig-Bashing' on the little commercial fisheries.
roach, perch, gudgeon, tench, carp. no club owns it you just need the fishing license of this fair old country, parkings a prob tho not many places unless you walk, ho and pike
Hi Luke Try this website it has a phone number on but dont know if up to date. The homepage for fishing says that A waterways licence is required to fish much of the Shroppy canal that isnt controlled by clubs
Hi if ya head down the motorway and get off at junction 10 by the lexus garage, you can drive down that back road and pull next to one of the blocked bridges. Your car will be safe enough and your right on top of the water. You'll know its the right bridge its right next to the power plant thing thats there.
Now if ya go left from the bridge it will take ya to some reeds beds that are on the far bank. These are good for the carp and bream. be careful where ya fish though cause there are overhead lines so keep ya eye out for the signs that say what the safe distance is!
If you go right from the little bridge it will take you towards a large bridge which is actually the motorway. Just before the motorway there are some reeds that jut out, again really good for bream and eels in that area. O and if this mark sounds more like what your after then you can park in the appliance cente car park (its on the back road that leads to the new asda)
