river ribble today...

got on the ribble after work today at 1.30 after me van decided not to start after a stop of at a shop on the way there,anyway one push start later and of i go ,but the thought in my mind was shall i go home incase the van conks out again (and i am fishing in the middle of nowere) sod it it go fishing,but makes me mind up only to fish till 4 so if it want start at least it will be light to phone the aa ..

anyway first cast missed a chub wrap but on the second cast i had this little cracker 9lb 12 oz



then this one on the next cast 9lb ...



then a few missed chub wraps then this one just on 4 oclock and time for home..



i was going to stay on till 8 but got back to the van expecting it not to start and phone the aa but yep first go the plick...

excellent fish there Laaa, biggest barbel i've seen for a while

my pb is only 4lb from the dane at croxton lane when it was a day ticket water
