Got some worm to burn. Provided the snow doesnt make leaving the drive impossible will come along. Hope get a chance for a sit down and a cup of tea at the kebab shop - will want to warm up me hands!
Make a difference - take home 1 piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing.

No probs got out and had a go of pump, bloody hell gives u a stiff back on the way home , only got a few so have a bit of idea what to do.

But like a Dick didn't pay enough attention to where I walked through dunes so ended up on a bit of a walk through the dunes back to the car

Gonna wimp out, don't mind a bit of snow and the freezing temperatures, but just above freezing temperatures and weeing down rain is much worse.

Will probably head somewhere for a shorter session.

Good luck to those who go.

Me too mate, don't fancy travelling on a spray battered motorway, and fish in the rain, then a trek home in near freezing conditions. :(

Yes, me and Big Kev shared a codling (long story) and when I left I were talking to some guys that was fishing there, not part of the fish & meet and they had a flounder just over a lb. I don't know if any other fish came out.

Yes you need no permit. I was there recently around an hour before low and theres a sudden drop off (easy 3FT) about 50m out from the rocks. If your in wellies youll be flooded . Dont trust walking out into "shallow" beach. Stay about 20m from rocks. No joking within one step theres a "hole" 3 ft deep. This hole covers many square metres. Take care. Otherwise a great venue . No big gullies coming behind you. Dont walk into the surf unless your familiar with the place.
