Gurnard are my favourite eating fish, bar non.

Lovely baked in the oven.

They are a lovely looking fish and God made them tasty, sometimes you got to take the rough with the smooth.

I agree with you there John! I have only ate Red Gurnard before but it has the whitest flesh and a lovely texture. Hopefully there will be a Tub in the 1.5 to 2lb size (or bigger!) to bring to the table and sample this summer.
