6/other info ....Prefer the rod to be slightly longer,as i am more comfortable with a high reel position,and the butt section is a tad short for me.

winter fishing sucks
Daiwa AWB129PM. 12ft 9inch. This rod is now discontinued because the materials (Amorphous Braid) became very expensive. It cost me £100 (second hand), casting weight ratings are 4 to 8oz, with 5oz being best. In the right hands, it can cast a long way, but can be tempremental. The bite detection is good. I use this rod on open beach and semi-rough ground. Still a very sought after rod and will fetch good money.
