Trefor Pier

hello all, does anyone no how to get to the rock mark at trefor that can be seen from of the pier just like a little piece of rock that goes into the water near the big mountain side as i seen people fishing there last time i went trefor pier any help would be great thanks

at the carpark there is a gate on your left walk through(well at the side of it forgot your from wigan)

there is a footpath follow it till you get to a small path which takes you to the rock face there is loads of fishing can be done from the top .

but if you look down at low water there is a stone jetty that runs out to sea which is around 40ft by 10ft wide .if you fish on this becarefull its slippy and make sure you get off before high water .

the further you go left the better the fishing but it is high at low and hard to get them big fish in from here .

fish you are going to get in summer dogs/pollock/wrasse/mackrel/conger/huss/pouting/bream/and yes bass at the right tide time and bait

thanks for the info that is great thanks gutted about the pier had some great fish of there didnt no u could get the bass there is it just low tide you can fish it

no you can fish it at high if you can breath under water and screw your rods and tripod down to the jetty so the tide dont wash them away

i am thinking of giving them rocks a go so any ideas what bait is good there or is it just the same bait as trefor pier

.....dont know i dont fish piers.....I'm more of a breakwater specialist.
