Me and Sven are fishing low water by the Royal Hotel from 4pm til 8pm,then after a keeeeeebab,will be heading to Gynn Wall to fish the tide up til around 1am.We`ll also be pumping lug at Ainsdale on Friday evening,getting at the car park for 4.30pm....be there or be somewhere else

Might join you at Ainsdale on Friday, then more pumping on Sat night (depending on how I do on Friday) then Fleetwood, the Hall rd Sunday - phew.....

Am fishing a match by the Royal tonight, high water, so will let you know how it fishes, lot rougher now so hopefully there may be a few nice codling showing, but then again.................................................

There`s a crackin` keeeeebab shop just 2 mins from the low water mark
plenty of quality doner meat and lashings of hot chilli

That`s because you`re a novice pumper
The lug beds at Ainsdale are 99% on flat,wet sand....add a breeze and some rain and the casts disappear = empty bucket and a night in front of the telly instead of freezing your plums off on the beach
At Formby you can pump the worms found in the long gullies,which always have a couple of inches of water in them,thus protecting the casts from any rain
