Low water Eastham

Hi all, can anybody tell me if Eastham is worth fishing over low water on a big tide ??? (getting asked to go today but not sure if there will be water there :? :?

I have no idea but you should go to Perch Rock instead as the rays are defo in at the moment ;)

Thanks for reply Brian , to be honest i would venture down behind the fort myself but i have already made arrangements to fish with my friend somewhere different (his words not mine :roll: ) looks like i will be finding out for myself ....thanks again for your time ;)

yea follow my directions on the venue directions web page and u can fish the flood. You shouldnt be to bothered by crabs there although its quite muddy so u will need rags and wellies

Wish i would of read your advice earlier Jack , i got picked up at 1530pm so was at venue (Jetty) and fishing by 4pm not realising we were only wasting our time and bait .........Never had a tap till just on low water ,then whilst casting into what seemed like puddles we caught a few eels and flounders .About 45mins into the flood my mate Taff caught a descent sized sole which made his week/month and year going by the grin on his face(no jealousy here HONEST) :drool: ...

Well done i went there the other day fishing on crab. Couldnt stop getting eels one after the other. But i just kept getting them to the surface and most went mad on the surface and the hooks pulled. I ended up with 5 eels the biggest being 1lb 7oz I also had a rockling.
