Mostyn blocked

Went to Mostyn this morning and there are road closed signs at the start of the access road and an unpassable boulder about two thirds of the way along...with 'no access to footpath ' notices. The notices are put there by Griffiths constructon who seem to be develping something on the left ?

I parked in the lay by back on the road and walked it.......the end road has been re surfaced and looks smart...somethings going on.

I hadn't seen this thread and went down for a look today as never fished mostyn and was working in the area. First I went to try and get to the end of the dock but Siemens security laughed at me and said its been closed off to public for ages... Then went to the bit listed on 'venues' and was interrogated by construction henchmen and told to clear off. Also said that the footpath is closed, but if its a public footpath surely we are able to use the right of way?!?

ummm..... not sure what's going on, I always thought that was an actual footpath (I'll do some digging). Thanks for the report Haise.....I'll be gutted if we lose this venue.....

I think it's part of the Wales Coast Footpath, see below, hope the link works. It won't be shut for long...
