It`s an old chestnut,and all i can say is i`ve never known any car trouble down there......if you drive along the prom,passing the Otterspool pub (left of Jericho Lane) and keep going,you come to a play area where you can park at the top of the path down to the sea front,and if you fish at the end of the path,your motor is visible and just 75yds away...handy for peace of mind when fishing after dark....the Mersey Rd car park,just a little further and the one at the bottom of Riversdale Rd are both pretty close to the prom too......water is a little later flooding there,but it still fishes well.
