Chatsworth Avenue Stretch
Looking for a low water mark, preferably with lug to pump, prior to moving on to Rossall for the mid flood during the winter. As i`m working down that way now,i noticed there`s parking available and easy access down to the beach, but the question is,is it deep enough there to catch codling 2 hours either side of low and is there lug to pump ? cheers......
winter fishing sucks

Re: Chatsworth Avenue Stretch
Chatsworth Ave would be my preferred low water mark in that area. Plenty of black worm. Deepest water around Rossall Scar and Rossall Point. Less chance of getting cut off as the beach didn’t have as many gullies. ( so long as you didn’t wander too far past Rossall Point - the worm beds stretched for miles ).
That’s all before they built the new sea defences as I’ve not been out for a while.
