Llandudno West shore

I have plenty of sessions for bass fishing on the Llandudno West shore but never try for codo on winter time any advice for this venue?

I would`nt bother myself....far better places to try for cod than there

My mate had one once when we were fishing there but I wouldn't bother either I think it was just a lucky catch after a storm

Deganwy side of the narrows throws some up crab best bait .can get weedy and pulls strong .bass and flounders too but probably a bit late for bass now but its been a bit of a strange year so you never know.

Anybody know how it's fishing on island for codo or coal fish now? I haw free weekend and must go for fishing somewhere...

Coalies usually come on well off the beach at Trearddur in Jan,so maybe a little early....as for cod on the island i plead ignorance

Loads of coalies at Tbay now. However wouldn’t bother with these easterlies
