Even with the awful forecast was surprised to turn up and see no other anglers - usually means nothing to catch .
I fished 2 up and 2 down - my umbrella kept me reasonably dry and I got a small codling in the first 15 minutes and went on to get 7 codling - best 33 cms - caught on nearly fresh lug(most on this ) ,Mac and squid .
Most fish just on high and after up to 1.5 hrs down .
With no other anglers in sight I don’t know if that catch was any good but it felt ok as early march is often blank fest time !

Good session, well done for getting out, fewer anglers, less bait in the water, less choice for the fish
