Had our first attempt on the hounds a week.
Low water was 10:45am
3.1m low GD Liverpool
Fished 3.5 down 1.5up
Done the long walk for the first time with Ava
had 20mins of her saying “here looks good. Here looks good. HERE LOOKS GOOD!”
Set up in the usual ish spot with a few others on the beech including Ste Atkins
2 hours in and Ava as per was showing me up with a nice flounder
1lbs 3oz
Action was slow with no hounds showing either side of my until about low water
3lbs 2oz happy days we weren’t down the beach just waisting crab
Ava continued catching flounders and dabs
On slack water I had a better Hound at 5lbs 13oz
Not to be left out the action Ava reeled in the final hound of the session
4lbs 3oz caught on Rag
So ended up with
3 hounds for me a 3lbs 2oz, 5lbs 13oz and a 4lbs 3oz on Rag. Also had 6ish Dabs an a Dog.
Ava had 3 flounder biggest 1lbs 3oz and 2 dabs one at 30 & 7oz she also reeled the last hound in

Not a bad morning to be out.
