Fished match yesterday at kings lake rod I blanked so with worm left headed to otters the wind was blowing a Hooley gusting 40 mph river rough anyway thought we’ll I’m here now so here goes started with one rod first cast about 40 yds 5mins later landed cod 44cm well chuffed then went on to get about 10 whiting some nice ones ended up a good day out

I will be lucky it’s a small tide next week I’ve found otters fishes best on the big tides.

Dyl I am learning this match fishing lark I’ve been fishing big hooks ,baits watching others small hooks bait so got to downsize just be happy to beat jimmy redfern
