Must be a cursed area...!! I was there all last week (Stayed on Portland bill)... As soon as i got there i came down with some god awful bug and did not bother fishing...!!! And yes you guessed it the bugs left me more or less the second i walked through the front door when i got back...

Only been to Chesil once, no rods with me, just to check the place out, a couple of years ago, Abbotsbury.
What a great place too....

They say it's a hit or miss venue and I've seen loads of reports where people have had similar results.
It's one of those nationally renowned iconic venues that all us seasoned sea anglers should attempt at least once before we die. You've been there done that already bud, so well done fella. Good luck for the next attempt Jimmy.
