It’s winter there in bed at bottom of burrow.

Easterlies = tough going....Ainsdale in the run offs,or Lifeboat rd in the shallow gullies,that`s about the size of it.

Unfortunately angler's swapping good in-depth and detailed information with each other is not the done thing knower day's.
What you experienced is exactly what I was getting at in this post of pumping black lug. That I done on this site viewtopic.php?f=197&t=34975

The air pressure and temperature throughout the year changes and effect everything in our sea fishing in different way's during the spring / summer / autumn / winter . The affects on the likes of black -lug / blow-lug is even more so during the winter months.


This is why I mention in the pumping black lug post about looking out for other sign's for finding the worm as it's very common that no cast is visible
but the worm's are still there you just have to know what to look for when this is happening.
Same thing with blow-lug they take longer to cast and show the blow hole so waiting till the tide turns and starts flooding is a much better time
for getting them.

If I ever see you out pumping i would happily explain and show you what I am going on about / I would explain on here but I have had enough of the
Know it all / fake anglers that just spout carp so they can be popular.
