Targeted the hounds as they just didn't seem to be there last year . I fished 2 rods , one with prawn ( thanks for the petshack shout Stan )
and a whole joey mackerel on the other using short pulley rigs . Fished 2hours before low right through the flood and about 30min after . Had 5 hounds all around the 4lb mark , 2 tope pups and a doggy . I was wading out in about 3/4 ft of water before casting out so was cream crackered for days afterwards . All fish took the prawn apart from the doggy which was a good 400yds out

Good result Ste and a good workout! Interestingly good reports from all around the NW for the last few days on the smoothie front.
