Friday. Have not been sleeping well lately so was going to watch the England game, but decided to have a quick session,Started an hour before high, bait being stopped by crabs then an hour after high a cracking bite,in a hound of about 5 lb ,no photo as I was up on the rocks and didn’t want to risk the fish falling into a crevice.
Yesterday fished 3 hrs down to low an hour up. Had 5 fish.; 2 over 4lb.

The last one an hour into the flood at 69 cm . Weighed 8 lb 7 oz in the carrier bag but I didn’t want to chance washing the sand off so I am saying 8 lb

I don’t think the photo does it justice it kept bouncing down the bank as I tried to photo it .All fish caught on fresh peeler and all returned alive. Also had a couple of Eels and a Flounder.

Well done Brian. You definitely hold ‘King of the Bass’ title so far this season. Long may it continue. Numbers and quality! That 8lber is an absolute belter. Were you fishing with crab?

Yes all caught on fresh peeler.I’ve caught fish on lug there ,but you need quite a lot of worm if the crabs are busy ,rebaiting every ten minutes .
