Final match report and results
Well 22 turned out for the final match a rover from the steps before the ferry pub upto the tunnel vents.
We all met up from 9 am and once booked on everyone made there way to the prom we had anglers spaced out from one end to the other but how would it fish and in a word poorly. There we're very few fish being caught with the odd one here and there. After about an hour people started to think about moving to try another mark with some going from town hall end to up past guinea gap and some went from that end down by the town hall for some it made a difference but for others it didn't. Soon enough it was the end and we all made our way back to the car's then we all went to the ferry pub for the match and end of season presentation with a few trying to second guess the final results so with the match results done I then added everything to the league tables. So today's results were as follows.
1st on the day went to Jon Walsh who was the only person to find a flat and round combination with a dab and a whiting for 43cm.
2nd went to Dale Edwards with a plaice of 27cm.
3rd was Jonny Kirkham with a 26cm dab.
4th was Yuri with a dab of 24cm.
5th Stephen Atkinson
6th Gary swift
7th Daniel Davies
And everyone else didn't find a fish.
All in all was an enjoyable day even though not alot of fish were caught but the weather was kind and the company was great.
End of league results up soon but it was very close in the end
