The Fishermans Net

I did post this fishing session on the fishing sessions.

Arrived nice and early 3 hours before low fished with 2 rods.
What I call the bigger setup Fireblade and most would call standard fishing rods and gear.
The bigger rod was quiet again like previous sessions with just the 1 dogfish .


The other setup was my Bass rod using the same rig and baits as the bigger rod and that caught the thornback rays .
As they were my target fish for this session.
The light Bass rod holds up very well around the Wirral venues only time I do have a bit of trouble is when I cast too far at the Rock channel and Perch rock . The rest of the venues i fish it fine and very enjoyable fishing.

Next session am hoping to get out at Anglesey but the weather for the weekend looks like strong winds
So it could be a Lure fishing trip targeting the Bass and if I can fish I will have my Bass rod in the car and target the Small Eyed ray.

So lets see what happens and a report will follow .

Nice to be out and not working
I must say early morning and through the night fishing is my much preferred time of having a fishing session.
Peace and quiet is a big part of why I still do sea fishing .

Nice session Brian.That last ray looked happy.
yes she was as happy as me being out fishing again.
Not sure what others do but I watch quite a lot of Youtube and a lot of angerling Youtube channels are struggling and not catching .
This is why it pays to fish with others or ask questions it can only be a simple little thing that needs changing .
