Garden city, 15 fish for me 13 flounder to 39cm 2 silver eels frozen lugworm and rag. Ste came too and had 6 fish fresh lug and rag.
Had three double headers.
Big log hit my line on ebb and I snagged up and I mean a 200kg log. The sort of log you flush in the loo on monday morning after a roast.
Logs aside we called it there even though it was still fishing.

Hoylake today arrived hopeful of a keeper bass wind was onshore but very weak could have gone either way but it chose to die down. Minimal waves, cloudy water, sporadic bites. Ste had a medium sized flounder first chuck on fresh lug. I was going for a bass with larger baits. Did'nt seem to be interested in the welsh sawdust worm I had. Ended up landing my first multiplier flounder on sawdust welsh worm very close in as e multis brakes are pretty fierce. No birdies. Mine was also a mid size. Then thought after 14 total flounder I wanted to go back to the bass sized baits and had a smash and slackliner to no avail. Some nut job was boiarding along in circles on the last cast what a peice of fruitcake. Anyway the cast stayed in and then came the bite again no avail. Would not reccomend sawdust lug with no guts, although the welsh do it that way I think it's a load of bs.
All in all knackered and keen to get another ray session in at perch with ste.

Good stuff Tom,
Flounder were the first fish i caught from the sea, both with the little solid glass spinning rod my dad gave me with creeper rag, and 'treading' for them in river estuaries!
Cheers
