The Fishermans Net

Had a day off today but wasn't planing on going fishing, anyway I got bored so had a look at the tide table and decided to go over to the father land On the way down I was thinking about fishing North shore but decided as i got there to try the pigeon hole, bad mistake
Nice views and a lovely day for it.

When i arrived there was 3 others fishing, they only had a wrasse between them. so i gave it a go, 2 rods one close and one about 60yds.After 2.5hrs I'd only had one Pollock about 4", close in on the first cast, so i decided i was going to take me crabs and have a crack at Deganwy to see if i could get a bass or 2. Started fishing at 7.30hrs with low around 9.30pm. Set up with 2 rods both with ledgers, one about 50yds and the other about 20yds


Th fishing was slow for the first 1.5hrs until the sun started going down

Then i had this flounder

then strait after this codling about 3/4 pound


The next 1.5hrs seen me land 6 other codling all about the same size but no billy Bass. Terned out to be an all rite sesh, even these codling put up a good scrap at that range Will be going back
