seacombe tunnel vents

went out to scope out where the first match is to be held and get to know the ground a bit better took a few peelers and a pennell rig armed with 1/0 hooks ,was'nt feeling very optimistic when i arrived half an hour before high water and no one was fishing ,but was waiting around watching some fella in one of them boat -cars 
trying to sail (don't know wether you say it is driving or sailing 
) and along came the police in a rib and i could clearly here them warning him to hurry up and get out the way ,then looked futher up river and the ferry was on its way round to the terminal .iwould say he had a very lucky escape there if the rib had not of been there i dread to think what would of happened,but thats what you get for being tight and not paying the tunnel fare like every one else 
,but any way ended up with a codling of maybe a pound or so 
things are looking good for the comp if the cod are already showing up
