Has anyone fished the river at Farndon recently? If so how did you get on?

Normally at this time of the year Farndon is full of dace on the Farndon side by the cafe,if its still there.Run a stick float down the inside with white or bronze maggots. Feed large balls of molehill soil with a couple of maggots in.The water is often very clear and the molehill soil creates a big cloud giving the fish confidence to feed.Have a pike rod set up as well because there are some cracking pike just waiting to rip off the dace as you bring them in.
