The Fishermans Net

right, the next fish 'n' meet is on the 23rd of september and i could do with some advice as to what rigs types, lenghts and hooks im going to need and any other advice that can be give for this venue please. i also need to know what baits are recommended for it.

please help as i dont want to be a blanker.

Fishing 1pm to 5pm over low water(4pm 2.9m 9.5ft)
Species: Dogfish, Conger Eel, Dab, Plaice, Whiting.

Just a stab in the dark here,but have you checked out the venue sections?

How many hooks are allowed ?

have looked on venues, reports, text reports plus a few other places. but i thought i would try to get some more upto date info on this venue. as we all know one years can variey to the next dramatically.

as far as im aware its a 2 hook, one rod limit as the others have been. yet i will fish a second rod that wont count towards the results as my tripod takes 2 rods and quiver takes upto 5 why not. no chance im traveling light again. learnt that one after rhoscolyn.

double maggot float fished with a medium porcupine (chester zoo got loads of them)

Seriously, 2 hook Flapper with size 1's if all your concerned is about blanking
try 1 rag 1 Lug see which takes the bait.

Only cos you haven't fished there

Lug or Rag tipped with Mack are as good as anything.

I'm sure that the crabs will be quit happy to eat whatever you offer them

would preffer it to be fish. had enough crabs this year.

its not my fault. i blame the tourists from liverpool. they put out way too easy because there on "hoilday"
