First session of the year for Gaz and Godders and 3 species were on the target list. The plan was to head over to the north of Anglesey to target conger and huss, with a bit of a detour on the way to target a plump flounder at the blue bridge at Queensferry. WSF/BLAS Summer League 2016 – Round 1 – Caldy
This year’s BLAS/WSF Summer League got underway at Caldy, with 20 anglers looking to open their account and get some points on the board. There was a mixture of familiar faces and league debutants which was really pleasing to see. We all had a chat about the match fished yesterday and how patchy it had been. Would it be the same today or would the fish show up in numbers? There was only one way to find out and that was to get down onto the beach and get going. Click here to find out who took the honours.
WSF Summer League 2015 – Round 1 Caldy
8 WSF lads fished the first round of this years Summer League at Caldy. Flounder were the bonus species and with conditions being near perfect there were high hopes of plenty of action. Talkingbullhuss was ment to be working bank holiday Monday ,but wet weather put a stop to laying bricks so ended up with a day off.. Quick phone calls and he arranged to meet gaz and his good old mate graham at mostyn for a two hour each side of low session…read the full report HERE

Morrow got to the mark for 12:30 had a good walk along and back looking for a good spot to fish that had plenty of mud,grass,sand etc……found a cracking location further down got set up and ready to go using 2 rods both with flapper rigs and rolling leads bait i had rag from flanagans and mak i caught at llandudno last year!..FULL REPORT HERE

Tony arrived at Perch Rock at 6.20am at got set up in the car park before strolling down the beach.
The water had not started to drop down the bank yet so no rush to chuck at bait out. Set up one rod with a 2 hook flapper with frozen black tipped with mack, and the other with a whole squid and frozen black FULL REPORT HERE

mel was,nt too hopeful today with all the floodwater still in the river , but they thought we,d have a flounder session , as it turned out there were a few fish around nowt big but enjoyable all the same full story HERE
