Anglesey or nearby Pier or similar

I am looking for a good safe place to fish on Anglesey or nearby. Used to go to Trefor Pier b4 they closed it. I dont wish to walk far. A rock mark would be ok providing it is into open water and not over a jagged bottom. Dont want to have too far to cast. Anyone know how Beaumaris or Bangor Pier fishes?? Suggestions would be appreciated.

Why not give holyhead breakwater a go,good fishing at times and you fish right out of your car door!! put one rod down the wall for wrasse etc and one out for anything bigger.

Believe Menai Bridge pier fishes well when the University boat is not moored there. Don't know about Beaumaris. You tried Penmon Quarry? Max. 100 yds walk from car and fish from rock ledges into deep water over a clean bottom.

Is the route to Holyead Breakwater signposted?
Where is Menai Bridge Pier (is it the one at the back of the Liverpool Arms?)
Is Penmon Point Quarry to the left of Penmon Point as you look out to sea/ Do I park at penmon Point?

For Penmon Quarry, you pay the jobsworth for parking and take a left turn well before you get to the point. There's loads of clear space to park and a fish farm at either end of the bay. See Malcolm in ABC tackle at the garage at Gallows Point for great, cheap bait (big peelers - 50p!) and unbelievable bargains on tackle prices.
