Pulley Pennel, Hook Loop & Hook Flapper

Hi

I'm very new to this, and having read some of the witty answers to other questions, please be gentle with me.

What are the differences between the Pulley Pennel, Hook Loop & Hook Flapper rigs? Are they for different sorts of fish, sea beds?
