Perch Rock

Post by Big Kev »

Had some rag left from yesterday,so as soon as Adam`s footy got called off,i shot down to the Rock to meet up with Dave Kam (fishing the BLAS match) and was joined later by Sven, hot from his boat trip.It was a very busy day with a Personnal Members match taking place. The fishing was o.k. with quite a few whiting and small dabs coming out.Dave won the Blas match with 4lb 4oz...Big Derek 2nd with 2lb 12oz and Sven 3rd with 2lb 9oz.

Great pictures Kev, nice to see Svens giving Wendys old rod a good workout :D :D

Went to Marine Hall, Crosby to sort out my casting which is now much better AND to try out Wendys new rod - awesome I think would describe it quite well.

Easy to cast, very light, good distance andstraight out to sea. She's well pleased.

And what is it....?

Zziplex 3500, custom rung for fixed spool. What a fanatastic rod this is.

SH1T,was gonna come down there for low but got told it would be packed with the match, went to Jag house instead just to finish off the bait from 5 bar gate, sat for 3 hours on me own :? ,billy no mates or what, then the lad who caught the monster cod in the river a couple of weeks ago & his mate fished next to me,next minute it was like a gold rush, clown next to us casting sideways to allow for the tide, pity the tide had turned, so he got told, then even more turned up as I was leaving, have I upset someone  .
