Re-Ringed Rod
I've over the years gone by I've always replaced rod rings when needed myself .... but having heard about John at The Fisherman (Birkenhead) ... and the fact I have 3 rods that need re-ringing I thought I'd give John a try.
Well I can thoroughly recommend his workmanship, he’s done 2 rods for me at present and after seeing his work, I’m going to get the other one done and possibly a couple more … top bloke!

£30-£40 .... if it makes the rod nearly as new that's worth considering me thinks Millsy .... you would have to spend quite a few quid to get a rod in the Century Kompresser Sport class.
I've got the same rod, mine is in need of refurbishment (that said I very rarely go beach fishing now) .. but I'm keeping hold of it.
If he agrees at a price nearer to the £30 it would be even better
