going to treaddar bay on tuesday after school for a week for my mums 40th and i was thinking of giveing ty crose a go fo its money. I want to catch my first ray so what baits and hooks should i use coz i dont have a clue. How is it been fishing the last few weeks?

Very good chance of a ray there Jack....sandeel,squid,mack will all take fish......Cable Bay is a more comfortable mark and offers similar results

Thanks big kev good advice as allways on marks can you fish the venue from high to low

Yeah you can fish it any time.....Cable Bay is limited to around 6 rods in the hot spot...if you can`t get near the corner i would`nt bother

fished cable bay yesterday no fish there

but i did see a report on fish4u and there was rays coming out there

If you look back through old reports you`ll see Ty Croes and Cable Bay are both hit n miss at this time of year,it`s if your luck`s in

I hope it is hopefully i there are no rays wanting to play ball mabey the doggies and stuff will play ball

Dont bother going to Ty Croes if the wind has any South in it over force 3 because you will not be safe on any of the better marks due to the swell that will build up and soak you from time to time.

yea will do my mum and dad are down in anglesy now and i am going there after school tomorrow and they say that treaddar bay beach the sea if flat and very sunny. Im going to bragg to jozzer that i am practicaly takeing time off school to go fishing.

going to Ty Crose today ladies going to dig at 4 mile bridge at low for rag and lug then going to fish it 3hs up and however many down the light allows i got a cheap head torch so if i pack up a bit late then i can use the light to navigate over the rocks. Sooo thanks for your help i will put up a post tomorrow cant wait. Winnies worms have exelent blow lug and rag v big and well worth the price for the quanity you get.

Hi Jack hope you get some tight lines. Fishing cable bay sat night if weather ok. so look forward to your report on how its fishing. if you need any information on wheres catching pop in and see Malcom at abc Gallows Point, Beaumaris really helpful guy.
