looking for a place for a plaice

hello all, i've got my first afternoon spare since the arrival of my little nipper 5 weeks ago and with a good low tide and some sun tomorrow i'm thinking of perch rock area for flatties, maybe a plaice or a ray. i've heard people talk about Derby Pool and know it's in this area, can anyone point me in the right direction for a decent spot? can't seem to find it in 'venues'. cheers.

Try Derby pool by the Coast Guard station, right of the Y'groin (looking out to sea). Fish the tide up till it reaches the groin. Use blow lug. Or like you say go the Perch and try for a ray with squid/sandeel.
